This is expressed in top notes that comprise a refined bergamot heart, which balances a sparkling brightness with an aromatic, floral facet, combined with the intensity of the emblematic marine notes.

CLARY SAGE HEART & ROSEMARY
At the heart is a fusion of geranium bourbon heart, rosemary essence, and clary sage heart. The geranium bourbon heart creates an intense and multifaceted effect, with its blend of fruity facets and herbaceous aromas, while the clary sage heart evokes sparkling floral and fruity tones. The rosemary essence, meanwhile, conjures a contemporary, fresh, and spicy effect. These notes create a mood of modernity and dynamism, that reinvents Acqua di Giò’s iconic aromatic signature.
BASE NOTES
INCENSE ENCENS & PATCHOULI
Notes of vibrant woods, conveying smokiness and elegance, characterize the fragrance’s base. Patchouli essence, known for its singular warmth, creates the fragrance’s mysterious sillage, while incense essence brings a salty, mineral facet and a sense of mystery. The mineral-toned incense essence note is evocative of the black rocks of Pantelleria, the Italian island that perpetually inspires Giorgio Armani.

A REFILLABLE BOTTLE, DESIGNED TO LAST
Designed with its refill system, the ACQUA DI GIÒ PARFUM bottle ushers in a more responsible way of consuming fine fragrance. With this refillable design, the Acqua di Giò Parfum bottle, composed of 15% recycled glass, is designed to last. Its functional refill system allows the original spray bottle to be refilled seamlessly, without using a funnel. To do so, the 150ml refill bottle is turned upside down, to decant the fragrance into the original bottle, without losing a drop. Refilling ACQUA DI GIÒ PARFUM’s 75ml spray bottle demonstrably reduces raw material use: 41% less glass is used, 7% less plastic, 23% less paper, and 67% less metal*.

PURPOSEFULLY SOURCED INGREDIENTS
ACQUA DI GIÒ PARFUM’s inclusion of some sustainably sourced ingredients ensures raw materials whose provenance guarantees ethical working conditions and fair prices for the farmers who cultivate them. Within ACQUA DI GIÒ PARFUM the sustainably sourced ingredients are the bergamot heart from Calabria, Italy; clary sage heart from Provence, France; geranium bourbon heart from Madagascar; and patchouli essence from Guatemala.
PROTECTING VITAL FORESTS
To mark the debut of ACQUA DI GIÒ PARFUM, Armani beauty adds its support to a further forest preservation program in Guatemala, where the fragrance’s patchouli is sourced.
Since its inception, the program has guaranteed the preservation of 98 hectares of forest and has captured 517 tons of CO2 in Guatemala.
